NSW Jumps into Japan competition!

Amanda Judd, Tuesday, 28 July 2009

Six gymnasts from across NSW recently travelled to Japan to compete in Level 10 at the Kyoto Junior International Cup. Gabrielle Carlson, Charlotte Cormack, Holly Tatum, Casey Bacon, Sarah Iwanoczko & Sarah Wise (injured)

Leading up to the competition, the girls were invited to train at the Kyoto Jumping School alongside a very respected coach Mr Toshi Kawai.

The team compeition was Tuesday 28th July, with all girls executing some great performances.

The competition was conducted on the new international code of points, which was a significant change to the Australian levels code. The gymnasts adapted extreemely well to the new code and Desiree their coach was so proud of their performance, and is a credit to their regular coaches in NSW with how well they presented themselves.
